A beautiful day in the west

It was a gorgeous day and I spent most of it working in the garden. I am clearing an infestation of creeping buttercup in the blueberry bed. I managed to wrestle half of the bed clear of the nasty wildflowers. Along with a whole pile of herb Robert. That was hard work. I also cleaned most of the leaves out of the pond.

There has been some progress in the vineyard but not a lot as it's been cold this week. And very wet. My new pal Ginger kept me company most of the day.

Then Alex arrived with some friends from America and we went for a walk to the top of the hill. It was spectacular today. Success!
